White Float Glass Windows & Plates

White Float Glass is a low iron glass which is extra clear and virtually colourless and unlike other Float glass there is no green tinge to it. It has a very high light transmission which makes the solar energy transmission high because of the lower iron content. Due to its optical clarity this glass is widely used in optical and camera systems due to its high transmission. It’s a low cost alternative to use instead optical glasses eg. N-BK7 in windows and substrates. It has very good flatness for a float glass material and supplied in a range of standard sheet thicknesses.
