Flat Optical Mirrors
Flat Optical Mirrors are supplied in standard or precision grade depending on the flatness you require. This surface flatness grade is the measurement of the roughness of the surface and to decrease the amount of light through dispersion then a high surface flatness is required. To add longevity to the mirror an optical overcoat coating has been applied. This overcoat can custom coated in a magF2 for UV applications. Flat Optical Mirrors are used in a variety of applications including lasers, beam steering or folding, imaging systems and interferometry and many more.
UQG not only offer Borosilicate but also coated optical mirrors including UV Fused Silica, low expansion glasses, Fused Quartz and Float Glass to a flatness of λ1 to λ10 (lambda 10).
