Zinc Sulphide (ZnS) Windows
UQG Optics Zinc Sulphide (ZnS) Windows have an excellent IR transmission range between 8-14 microns. For visible and mid-wave or long-wave infrared sensors, it has a good transmission range which makes it a good material for thermal imaging. Multispectral and FLIR are both harder than Zinc Selenide and although the FLIR grade is more hard than multispectral they both can manage harsh environments.
UQG Optics ZnS windows come stock in multispectral water-clear grade sometimes referred to ZnS Cleartran™, and FLIR IR grade, made in diameters. Custom made into Squares/rectangles with additional coatings and designs. Other components can be made including ZnS lenses, Squares/rectangles can be custom made with additional coatings and designs.
