Borosilicate Windows & Plates - Sheet Glass

Borosilicate has low coefficient of expansion with good resistance to water, acid and Saline Solutions. The majority of our borosilicate sheets glasses are made from Schott Borofloat® 33 which is a versatile borosilicate glass with excellent light transmission, outstanding thermal resistance and high chemical durability. Borosilicate has excellent mechanical strength and can withstand temperatures over lengthy periods of time up to 550°C making it ideal for sight Glasses, windows for lighting, heat resistant glass and viewports. This material can also be supplied from stock AR coated sheets in 1.10mm and 2mm thick.

UQG optics stock Borosilicate windows and plates. Sheet Glasses and plates are made in diameters and squares to a standard range or custom made to your design in all shapes and dimensions and in range of standard thickness from 1.0mm to 25mm thick.
